AIM OF THE PROJECT

Design, construction, transportation, assembly and testing of a pilot plant for microalgae cultivation, located in Milan-Bresso wastewater treatment plant, as part of IMAP project.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Feasibility, basic and detailed design of process, electrical and civil layout. Construction of the pilot plant.

ACTIVITIES

• information gathering and definition of the effective needs of the Research Institute
• definition of the design basis
• drafting of the required documents for the implementation of the pilot plant
• submission of the project to the Research Institute and implementation of comments
• construction of the pilot plant
• transportation, installation and start-up

• obtainment of biomass capable to increase biogas production
• interception of exhaust CO2 from engines
• treatment of supernatant from anaerobic digestion
